The first step towards building a quality piece of furniture lies in obtaining the finest materials. ARK has one of the most stringent veneer and hardwood grading standards in the industry. These hand selected materials are finished with a system of conversion varnish that meets EPA Standards. Conversion varnish is an extremely tough and durable finish offering superior appearance and performance over other finishing processes. Our standard finishes are shown to the left. It would take an impossibly large standard color palette to satisfy the varied project requirements within the office furniture industry. To accommodate that extensive color spectrum, we will gladly match finishes to a sample provided us – usually with no up-charge.
